I recommend reading <em>Teaming with Microbes<\/em> if you want to know more.\u00a0 He wrote it and it&#8217;s chock full of microbe talk.<\/p><p>As soon as I got home, a search for compost tea began.\u00a0 Eventually I found a company that takes the &#8220;Alaskan Humisoil&#8221; that Jeff uses, extracts the microbes in spore form and inoculates them in a carbon base.\u00a0 In turn, I take this mixture and dilute it then brew for eighteen hours which wakes up the microbes so they&#8217;re ready to apply to your yard.<\/p><p>Microbes are just one part of the equation.\u00a0 The man that made the concentrate told me once, the soil is the digestive tract of the planet, and is he right.\u00a0 Just like us, the soil needs proper nutrition to keep everything\u00a0 healthy.\u00a0 All the minerals we need, the soil needs so I always add mineral mix to my soil.\u00a0 The microbes eat it up and feed it to the plants.<\/p><p>Thats it for now.\u00a0 Please let me know if you have any questions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How to organically treat your lawn and landscape&#8230; If your here and reading this, I don&#8217;t have to tell you the importance of organic lawn and garden care.&nbsp; You probably just need some guidance.
